Allan Lorde (he/him) is a Black Canadian illustrator based in Winnipeg, MB/Treaty One Territory.
He channels his early years of reading Peanuts and Archie Comics into humorous illustrations with a mid-century poster designer’s minimalist touch. Allan got his start in the latter half of 2000 by making gig posters for various local venues and artists, then entered the Graphic Design program at RRC Polytech to sharpen his skills.
Allan resides in Winnipeg’s west end with his wife, son, and two cats that tolerate his existence.
